This website is dedicated to my wife’s dolls. But you can visit my illustration website here and see some of the dolls jessica has inspired me to make. ......Most of jessica’s dolls are made from sculpey and cloth. (pretty inexpensive materials). She prefers simple hinges because they’re nice and floppy. ......There are a lot of found elements in her dolls. she’s always picking up scraps of fabric where ever she goes -- as well as sticks, and leaves. Usually she will begin a doll without much preplanning -- she might find a nice feather and then the little person grows out of it. ......Unfortunately for most people she doesn’t sell her dolls, they are each very special to her, and they are very hard to part with. I’ve tried to convince her to take commissions but so far no luck. ...... I hope you enjoyed the gallery and start making some dolls yourself.
